ANWSD Curriculum: The intentionally aligned and clearly defined proficiencies, transferable skills, instruction, and assessment practices that ensure each and every student engages and achieves academic and social emotional growth in an innovative, inclusive, and flexible learning environment.
The ANWSD curriculum is aligned to the Vermont Education Quality Standards. Content areas proficiencies are derived from the state adopted standards which include the Common Core State Standards for math and ELA, the C3 standards for Social Studies, NGSS for Science, National Core Art Standards for visual and performing arts, SHAPE America standards for PE, Act 1, SHAPE and NSES for Health, ACTFL for World Language, and JumpStart for Financial Literacy.
