The ANWSD School Age Licensed Child Care Program operates at VUES (Thundercare) and FCS (Cougarcare) afterschool from 3:15-5:30pm, early release days from 11:30am-5:30pm, and during April and February Vacation 8:00am - 4:00pm.
Childcare begins on Sept. 2nd.

This registration is for ANWSD school age students only (kindergarten and up). You must complete an additional form for each additional child.

My name is Allison Eddy and I am excited to be part of the PreK and Extended Care Fusion program. I have worked with young children for 15 years as a teacher and a photographer. I enjoy teaching Fusion classes at FCS and VUHS. I was raised in a small town in rural CT where she took piano lessons, sang in the choir and worked in a small bookshop. I graduated from the University of Connecticut where she studied music, languages and cultures and studio photography. I was a photographer for a national school portrait company working in preschools and Head Starts across the Northeast for 7 years.
I have also worked in center based early childhood education as an infant, toddler, and preschool teacher. I taught my own twins at home for several years, reading stories and playing and learning from nature. Moving to VT in 2020, I was looking for the same small town community to raise my children and found the Ferrisburgh Central School staff and wider community of families to be incredibly welcoming and nurturing.
I began working in the ANWSD in 2021 as a substitute teacher and then as a PreK paraprofessional. I have also worked in the Fusion program teaching photography, books and play and nature based learning classes and in the Preschool Extended Care Program. I bring creative ideas and love of play and learning to the PreK Extended Care Fusion program and hopes for a wonderful year getting to know all the children and families!
Ashley Bourgeois: School Age Childcare Director
My name is Ashley and this is my 8th year with the afterschool program. I grew up in Addison, Vermont and attended Vergennes Union High School. When I graduated high school, I started working as program staff within the afterschool programs and worked my way up to Childcare Director which oversees Thundercare (VUES), Cougarcare (FCS) and Extended Care (Pre-K)!
I am looking forward to making connections with students and families! I cannot wait to see all of our returning and new families! When I'm not at work, I enjoy traveling and hanging out with friends and family. I love to dance and listen to music. One of my favorite places is the beach with a good book.
Audrey Scribner: FCS Fusion Site Coordinator
My name is Audrey Scribner, and I am graduating in December from Saint Michael’s College with a bachelor degree in Business Administration and double minors in Accounting and Religious Studies. I have been working at the after school and summer program since my Sophomore year of high school, and I love the connections I’ve made with students and families throughout my time! When I’m not working I enjoy traveling, hanging out with friends, and helping around with the VUHS wrestling team!
Kristin DeGraaf: Administrative Assistant of Afterschool and Summer Programs/VUES Fusion Site Coordinator
My name is Kristin DeGraaf and I graduated from UVM in May with a degree in psychological sciences and a minor in human development and family studies. I have worked in the Afterschool and summer program at VUES and FCS for 3 years.
Sara Driscoll: VUMHS Fusion Site Coordinator
Hello! My name is Sara Driscoll and I am beyond excited to be the new VUMHS Fusion Coordinator. I have worked in this school district for the last 9 years and have always been a part of the after school and summer programs. When you don’t find me in the hallways of VUMS, you may spot me cheering on one of our soccer or basketball teams, attending one of the district's fabulous musicals or at one of our area's state parks.
I currently reside in Vergennes and have two adult sons, Jacob and Evan. In my free time I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, spending time at the beach (preferably at the ocean collecting shells), and spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy the sunshine and blue skies so anytime I can be outside, I am most happy.
I look forward to an exciting year bringing our families some exciting after school experiences.
Asia Kruse: Director of Afterschool and Summer Programs
Asia Kruse joined our Team in October of 2022 as a Director of Afterschool and Summer Programs at Addison Northwest School District, after serving as a Fusion Side Coordinator for Vergennes Union Middle and High School for four years.
Kruse holds a Masters Degree in Immigration Law and Business Administration from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan, Poland. Additionally received associates degree in Labor Law, European Law and Real Estate Law. She successfully graduated from the European Academy of Young Diplomats earning her diploma in Foreign Service.
She is a native of Poznan, Poland, currently residing in Vergennes, Vermont with her Husband Christian, Daughter Stella, Son Simon and Boxer Dog Kenny.
When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends. She loves dragonflies, hiking, great food, soccer, hockey and coaching basketball.

Families will only be charged for days your student attends the program. Families are not charged for any scheduled days off such as in-service days, holidays, vacations or parent teacher conferences or days the program is closed due to weather or other emergencies.
Anyone receiving financial assistance from the State of Vermont’s Child Care Subsidy Program is responsible for paying their co-pay to the ANWSD and any remaining balance if subsidy eligibility is terminated.
